Evaluative

Every mediator has their own personal style.  However you can request a mediator provide a stronger opinion of their beliefs as to potential outcomes at trial and strengths and weaknesses of your particular case.  In many instances, one or both parties may have expectations of their case and the outcome that does not always meet with what is likely to happen at Court. Having a mediator provide a process that is evaluative of the facts and arguments in a party’s case and whether the desired outcome is likely to occur can be a helpful tool to move the parties towards settlement as the mediator.
